Before the Colors Set, After They Faded
Captured on film
To be honest, my first image of Hakodate was all white.Snow, houses, cars—even the silence felt white.
But this time, it was summer. No snow. Just faded playground paint, soft light, and quiet corners I hadn’t imagined.
I brought both color and black & white film. One to find saturation, the other to record what might be disappearing. This trip became a quiet search—for the other sides of Hakodate.
