Let's Jazz!

In 2023, I visited Perth, Australia, and unexpectedly found myself at an outdoor jazz festival.

While the music was captivating, it was the scenes beyond the stage that drew my attention—street vendors, people picnicking on the grass, casual conversations under the sun, and a photographer weaving through the crowd, capturing fleeting moments.

This series is less about the performance and more about the atmosphere that surrounds it. It’s an exploration of how a city breathes through its public gatherings—where music, people, and place come together in a shared rhythm.

2023年，我首次造訪澳洲的Perth，意外參與了一場戶外爵士音樂節。

除了舞台上的表演者，更吸引我的是周圍的風景：攤販林立、人們席地而坐、在陽光下野餐、交談、隨音樂擺動，甚至有攝影師穿梭其中，記錄著彼此的存在。

這組影像不是演出的紀錄，而是一次對「城市活動如何與人互動」的觀察。爵士樂之外，更多的是一種生活的流動與開放的節奏。
